I started Cymbalta 60 mg last thursday. patty 03-26-2005 @ 8:59 AM                              Member Joined: Jan. 2005 I have been taking cymbalta for about 3 months and it seems to be working for me. My Dr. did also add another medication Lamictal, because when I was supposed to start my period or even if I didn't (I am going through peri-menopause as well) I would have very bad mood swings: crying, angry at the world and myself, not able to feel joy at all, etc. I felt a difference within two days of taking the lamictal--I didn't feel like I was on a roller coaster of feelings.
