Hi everybody,

My question is if there is any physical reason for depression? Let’s say like a brain damage or a tumor. Or it is caused because of our life experiences?
I would appreciate any feedback.

Hello Iraj,
Everyone's opinions regarding depression and its origin will differ.  I would suggest that you ask your Doctor if they could answer that for you.

It depends on the person. Sometimes depression is a chemical imbalance in the body which can be leveled using certain medications. Other times it can be circumstance and a state of mind. Even though it isnt physical in this instance, drs and meds can help here also, although not as dramatically as for the chemical reason.
